As a director, I combine my background in environmental anthropology with my training in theater and circus to create work that stretches beyond the boundaries of traditional theatrical practice. Whether collaborating with documentary filmmakers in rural Kenya or circus artists in the Caribbean, I seek to create performances that reflect, complicate, and challenge how we understand the world we inhabit. Working at the intersection of theater, dance, opera, and circus is where my work comes alive.
As a producer, I am drawn to projects with a purpose. I believe powerfully in the use of art as a tool for social change. My strengths are shaping links between groups internationally and increasing accessibility. As a producer, I have worked in Spanish and English, fostering connections across local sectors and international governments.
I believe strongly that access to the arts is a human right, and work hard to ensure that cost and distance are not barriers to accessing performance or arts education.
As a performer, I value vulnerability, whether making people laugh in a slapstick comedy, or inspiring the kind of silence that only comes when an entire audience is holding their breath. I am passionate about creating healthy, positive environments where all of my collaborators feel supported and valued.

With the support of Secretaria de Cultura Bogotá, IDARTES, Barraca Teatro, and CEFE Chapinero Centro de Felicidad, I led and produced a three week residency with the Norwegian company Acting for Climate. The residency included performances of their touring show "Currents", technical workshops with the students of Circo Para Todos, and a three day "Artivism" laboratory with fifteen circus artists, chosen by a city appointed jury. The residency took place in cultural venues around Bogotá, inspiring artists and audiences to take action for a more sustainable future.
